I began my journey into video editing sphere by using Windows Movie Maker to edit my own gaming videos for distribution on social media. Initially, my goal was simply to create engaging and entertaining content for my own personal use and share it with my friends.

Most importantly – I will always remember the humble beginnings of my video editing journey, where I started with nothing more than Windows Movie Maker and a dream to create something great.

I created a YouTube channel creating fan- made content about boxing, MMA, sports and gaming. Fun-fact, after I had first several serious experiences and worked after around 10 years, I gained 4 million views on 10+/- videos, over 10.000 subscribers and collaborating with popular partners.

Specialized in content and later transitioned to a YouTube consultant role in 2019.

I got into the trend on the Balkans in 2010-2011, creating a blog account on Bloger.hr (Index.hr).

Because I was always eager about learning how the internet works, I wanted to differentiate myself from the others – so I decided I wanted to learn how to do UI/UX design for blogs (using only photoshop, HTML & classic CSS).

A year later, I was creating Website Designs for most of the betting blogs on Bloger.hr. My blog was on the Top 50 blogs in Europe, and I had over 10.000 daily views – I was only 14-15 years old.

I was also creating flashy-banners, social media designs and logo-designs & adverts for other Blogs.

Around 2012, along the creative love for designing, I discovered my passion for videography, specifically Video Editing.

To enhance my skills further, I reached out to YouTubers and offered them free video editing services to gain more experience. This initiative involved editing vlogs and gaming footage, considering these creators as my “clients,” even though I didn’t receive any payment, it was all about gaining valuable experience.

In 2015, my vision was clear – becoming a professional freelancer to start with more project experiences in different spheres, so I started working on popular freelance platforms such as Fiverr and Upwork. The beginning of my professional career.

I explored various online courses and tutorials, mainly from Domestika, focusing on Video and Design. Through working on projects, I gained experience in multiple areas such as: Video Editing, Graphic Design, Content Writing, HTML/CSS, SEO, Tracking Analytics, Photoshop Image Editing, Social Media, Content Management for clients, Data Entry and more.

I’ve loved MMA since 2010 and got my first break in 2017 when I contributed to the UFC 245 promo video as part of a remote team. This project fueled my passion for creating UFC content, leading me to post my work on my long-dormant YouTube channel. Within just eight videos, my channel grew to 11k subscribers and over 4 million views, opening doors to new partnerships and opportunities.

This experience turned my passion for UFC and video editing into a fulfilling career, and I continue to seek new collaborations in the industry. I’ve also worked on a few official UFC projects, including an NDA project in 2019.

All of these efforts made me FIT for the market, as I was able to establish myself as a top-rated freelancer on PeoplePerHour. I consistently ranked in the top 5% of freelancers on the platform, earning Level 5 status and global recognition for my skills and expertise in design and video production.

Overall, my experience in 2018 was a testament to myself and to people I worked with for the power of hard work, dedication, and a commitment to constant improvement.

Fast forward to 2019, I got a position at the Simplify-ERP company as a Digital Marketing Specialist and a Video Editor, a German company with offices in Skopje.

In this role, I was responsible for creating promotional and explanatory videos, graphics, marketing campaigns, and other marketing materials as a part of a marketing team of 6, and a company size of 25-30 employees.

Building on my earlier experience with the UFC promo in 2017, I was entrusted with a new project. This role allowed me to refine my storytelling skills and craft compelling visuals for a global audience. Again working alongside a group, this time I wasn’t a volunteer, but I was one of the 50 responsible Video Editing Contributors for UFC 245 (preelims & main event).
